Why it is Cool This watch is such a fantastic example of a unique and timeless vintage Bauhaus design that the German luxury brand still makes a nearly identical watch today. These Glashütte Senator Sixties notably feature iconic Arabic numerals: slender, serifed, and unique - in my opinion they are some of the best-looking numbers to ever exist on a dress watch!
The aggressively domed crystal and dial with engraved and gold-filled indices take this one over the top as one of my favorite vintage dress watch designs of all time for me.
Condition This piece is as close to new old stock (NOS) condition as you'll likely ever find one of these. It was recently serviced making it ready for many years of reliable wear by its next owner.
The watch is all original. Its acrylic crystal shows only a few small scratches near 6 and 7 o'clock. Dial, hands, and case are in nearly-new condition.
This watch does not come with box or papers.
