A stunning 1960s Zodiac Olympos mystery dial watch!

Condition
These watches are seldom seen in such well-preserved condition! This watch has sharp case lines and minimal wear on the lugs, bezel, or original plexiglass crystal. The dial and hands are very clean and free from noticeable blemishes or patina.

This example appears to have had the luminescent material on the floating hand and markers around the dial refreshed. Most lume on the hour hands of these watches have become badly discolored, so this was likely done to improve the look of the watch. The reapplication appears to have been done very well, and it also adds a small amount of usability to an otherwise dressy piece.

The watch winds smoothly and is keeping excellent time, but no guarantees are made regarding accuracy. Box and papers not included with sale.

Why it is Cool
This watch features a very cool "mystery dial" where the traditional hour hand is replaced with a rotating inner dial disk, which is adorned with an hour marker. This gives the appearance of the hour hand floating within the watch!

For an automatic watch, the watch impressively slim and wears incredibly well regardless of wrist size. The watch is presented on a very nice lizard skin strap and is ready to be enjoyed!
