Details A special gold-plated Tissot Seastar PR516 automatic watch from the early 1980s with rare red wine sunburst dial.
Why it is Cool This watch is an attractive, wearable combination of vintage luxury and sport. The gold tones and rich red dial pair wonderfully, and there are many other great details like the "floating" indices and orange seconds hand to admire.
Drilled lugs make swapping straps easy, although the included period-correct handmade rally strap is extremely comfortable. This P4W vintage pick is ready to be enjoyed!
Condition This unique piece was just serviced in Q2 of 2025 and is ready for many years of reliable wear by its next owner. It was found in Egypt and shows honest wear marks, but nothing extreme and the plating is generally in excellent condition (see pics).
There is some aging on the dial, but it only appears while under direct light and is actually a tiny dimpling/texture in the lacquer, rather than any type of discoloration.
The watch is offered under mechanical warranty through my local matchmaker until spring 2027. This watch does not come with box or papers. This is a great opportunity to pick up a unique piece from a great brand.
